Lady Talbot Drive begins at Marysville and makes it way through mountain ash and myrtle beech rain forest into the very northern area of the Yarra Ranges National Park and from which many of the attractions in that area can be seen.
The drive after the Beeches Rainforest Walk is reached, can only be accessed by 4WD in wet weather conditions. Best to check on the Parks Victoria website as to exact seasonal conditions when planning any trip.
Apart from the wonderful views of old growth forest along the way, the following attractions can be accessed on the drive: Phantom Falls, Taggerty River Picnic Area, Taggerty Cascades, Keppel Falls and the Beeches Rainforest Walk.
