The falls can be seen via a 2km walk (there and back) from the car park to a viewing deck overlooking the falls. Alternatively, a few kilometers east along Lady Talbot Drive is the falls lookout which provides a view of the Taggerty River Valley with the falls as the centrepiece.
The falls were first seen by Europeans when the Keppel brothers, mountain men, came across them in the 1880s. The Keppels lived in the northern area of the national park around Lake Mountain.
When planning a trip to see the falls or any of the features on the Lady Talbot Drive best to check with Parks Victoria for access and road conditions.
