Ada Tree Rainforest Walk

  • by

Walk through a myrtle beech tree rainforest to the Ada Tree. At least 300 year old, the mountain ash stands 76 metres tall and with a circumference of 15 metres. The tree is one of Victoria’s largest.

Located within the Yarra State Forest, south-east of Warburton, the trail to the tree begins at the car park and is a distance of 3.2km return or about 1 hour and 30 minutes. There are picnic facilities near the carpark.

The tree is a short distance from the Little Ada River as it makes its way to join the Latrobe River.
