Hobart sits at the foot of Mount Wellington, on the Derwent River and is Tasmania’s largest and capital city.

This beautiful, modern city has a wealth of heritage, including that relating to the famous penal colony just a few miles south east, Port Arthur.

The city has many attractions within a few hours drive, including impressive views from the top of Mount Wellington and spectacular vistas of the south east coast and coastal islands.
